This lovely parrot fur clip by Coro is both stylish and colourful, with very good condition enamel. It would look great on a hat, or a bag, as well as on a winter coat. Cohn and Rosenberger, better known as ‘Coro’, created a vast array of costume jewellery between 1930 and 1960, being one of the most celebrated and important manufacturers in the United States. Their huge success became very apparent with the arrival of Adolphe Katz, whose ability to select designs that were highly commercial, and to foster designs of great beauty and variety, were outstanding. They went on to produce a high end ‘couture’ line called Vendome, imitating many French designs, and also later made jewellery for Oscar de la Renta.
